Jagannath Adhikari is a geographer interested in sustainable development; climate change, food security and migration; environmental justice; and, agrarian change and livelihoods. He is currently studying urbanisation and environmental change in his hometown, Pokhara. His most recent book is Food Crisis in Karnali: A Historical and Politico-economic Perspective (2nd edition, 2024). He is also one of the editors of the book Environmental Justice in Nepal: Origins, Struggles and Prospects (2024).
