Michael Hutt taught Nepali and Himalayan Studies at SOAS, University of London, from 1987 to 2020.  He is currently working on a book-length study/anthology of Nepali Dalit literature, funded from 2025 to 2027 by a Leverhulme Emeritus Fellowship.
